My name is Summer and I've been a bartender turned restaurant manager and back to bartender (by choice) for 18 crazy years! I'm a single mom of an adult son and also a pre-k son that are my entire universe!
I've lived a pretty rough and trying but also persevering and rewarding life, being on my own in an adult world at 16yrs old and actually making it to now 36 is something I'm proud to say & glad to know what I'm made of!
I have a pretty cut and brutally honest personality and although I'm 99.999% being sarcastically crude, my heart is as big as they come and my customers that I know, become my family and all know what I would do to be there for them through life's nonsense!
I am a upbeat bubbly soul that knows all to well how brutal the real world can be, I've always been and always will stubbornly be a woman who believes in all things kind and that Love can conquer anything!
The Bartender Diaries Podcast has opened a door for me & my fellow seasoned bartenders to let you all in on the "waiting" outtakes we have and think... trust me, we can't make up the shit we see and deal with.. we wouldn't want to if we could! I hope y'all enjoy tuning in.. I can get borderline too comfortable as time goes on, and I'm a pee with the door open on the first date kind and if chick! Summertime

"Melissa was a class act. She worked with us every step of the way. Her rates blew every other quotes away. Every single person at our party loved her, and keeps bragging about her. She plays exactly what you want, and she is fun to be around. We were really impressed, and recommend her 100%."
"Urbanrockettestar killed it at our wedding. The whole crew was partying and dancing until early into the morning! She did exactly what we needed and wanted; played some popular top 40 stuff early in the night to please the younger crowd, then as the night progressed, transported the rest of us back in time to a period full of old school hip hop with some fresh sick beats sprinkled in here and there to take everything up a notch. Absolutely everything we wanted! Thank you!"
"Melissa is always bringing the freshest beats and on the pulse tracks, with a fantastic smile to accentuate the set. Book her now before she gets picked up by some huge club in Miami or gets a professional modeling career. Blue wine and Tapas, State48 Tavern, Blue Buddha Sushi Lounge"
"Professional, amazing music selection, and personable. Felt like she knew me through the music selection even though we just met. Highly recommend!"

Joel Fenton is an artist/illustrator, amateur filmmaker, poet, nature & animal enthusiast, outdoorsman, activist, and very interested in the music, festival, & entertainment industries. He has experience in many various hobbies such as parkour & free-running, skating, playing drums/percussion, and exotic pet rehabilitation, though his art has been his most recent focus.
Joel was born in Prescott, AZ. and started drawing at an early age. He has lived in Flagstaff where he worked and attended NAU, Tempe, Sedona, and Phoenix where he lived and worked most recently. He came to the conclusion that he should pursue his passion for the arts after several years of mostly mundane unfulfilling jobs that he claims, drained his soul and didn't get him any closer to his dreams.
Joel has been involved in many endeavors but considers art, the beautiful southwest landscapes, the paranormal legends of various cultures, and wildlife as his biggest passions. Crediting it all as the inspiration for his work as they have led him into developing his art style, expression, and mood, and visual aesthetic of any given art piece he has created.
Joel Fenton is best known for painting in bright colors ---usually UV reactive neons, favoring pop-art, graphic novel, and surrealism art styles. Explaining to all that his art is an expression of his painful past experiences, his wild imaginative fascinations with cacti, spooky night time scenes, underappreciated animals, the paranormal, and psychedelic surrealism, or anything that involves idioms he finds appealing to depict, visually. His art has been considered shocking, creepy, honest, conscious, and overall entertaining to the eye.
Currently Joel desires to paint murals in the city and countryside, explaining that art is more powerful and inspiring when on large physical structures and landmarks. He will be releasing a body of work, all acrylic on canvas, that he will market and sell prints and posters of. In his spare time Joel plans to visit local skateparks and will do art commissions on skateboard griptape using paint markers and plans to release a portfolio of his griptape artwork. Modeling has been a recent interest to Joel as well, and he has interest in that path. Joel has always enjoyed a good music event and/or festival and would love to bring his art to the scene within the year in the form of live-painting and set design. He is also developing a few horror/sci-fi screenplays which he plans to direct and produce into Hollywood films in the future. In addition, Joel Fenton dreams of contributing his artistic sense to music production moving forward alongside many other artistic ventures yet to come!
Joel Fenton would like to thank those who have supported his passion for art and his aspirations to trail blaze his own path in life!
I am Dynamix. I’m a 21 year old who was born in Texas, but raised all over the US. I have been in two different communes, lived life a thousand times, and have enjoyed every moment. I was blessed with being able to travel and learn from a young age, it helped shaped me as an artist and a man. I’ve gone through a lot of very negative and dark things, but every time I find the positive and try to portray that. No matter what you’re going through, there’s always someone who understands your pain. I am here to be a light and help guide people with my talents
Why do you make music?
I make music to connect with people and express my emotions. I play with passion and joy every time I play, no matter what or where I’m playing. Music courses through my soul and I firmly believe that I was put on this earth to share my story and reach people with my message.
What is your message?
Depending on the song is depending on my message, I always try to put love in the forefront but sometimes you have to point out the hate with irony in order to get a response. I go over many things from life, to death, to love and everything in between. If I had to say it simply; Be happy. Be yourself. Be your best.
Where do you see your music going in the future?
I see myself on stage staring out into a crowd of thousands screaming my lyrics, I see myself meeting a man whose life I saved just by him listening to my songs and giving him hope. I see my art and music spanning the test of time, but these are all my dreams and hopes. I will never quit trying to pursue my dreams, these are all I have and all I need.
Where have you performed?
I’ve performed all of the continental United States. From Texas, to California, to Indiana, to Arizona, to Nevada and so on. I have performed a lot of shows and festivals since I was 13 years old
Texas - The Deep End, The Iron Horse, Misc. summer festivals
Arizona - Joes Grotto, NBC12 studios, Full Moon Festival
California - The beaches of Newport, Venice, Randy’s Bar, Terp Wars, Rebelistic Movie Premier, Mansion Side Jam Indiana - Wuhnurth Camping Festival, Skyy’s Burning camping Festival, Sleepy Bear Campout
Nevada - Mickey Finns, The Herbal Choice, The Strip, Las Vegas Hempfest, Terp Wars LV, and more
How long have you been making music?
I’ve been creating music with my voice and guitar for about 10 years. I started producing and recording electronically a year and a half ago, but I haven’t looked back since. I’m completely self taught and instead of basic music theory and training I learned through pure power of will. I like to think it helped me mold my voice into the raw emotion it is today.
What do you play?
I play every instrument and sing, I can do just about anything I want too when it comes to music. When I am performing live I usually just rock out on my guitar, but I’ve recently had more music being made with electronic production so I have started Dj’ing my own sets with pioneers and then blending it in to my originals on my guitar. Four fifths of my music is all created, recorded, produced, sang, written, and mixed by me. I have a few beats that were from other people and I worked with a talented producer on an album. Besides that everything I make is original.
How would you categorize your style of music?
This is what I struggle with every day haha. I make a wide range of music, and in each genre I make different sub-genres. I go from funk, to folk, to Indie, to Hip Hop, to Jazz, and I reach every spectrum within all those genres. I am able to seamlessly blend together genres into one song to make something completely different. For example, my Grunge/ Hip-Hop EP I’m working on. My production name is Dynamix because I am so dynamic with my music creation and design.
We support artists of every medium and genre, in part by dedicating a page that serves as a window into who they are and what they do. Please take a moment to check out a short Bio, their Contact information, and sample the work of these talented individuals that we have had the pleasure of working with.
